Because of this, we are intentional about getting to know our clients, and intentional about being available to walk clients through big decisions and life changes. As a fiduciary firm, we are required to put client interests first. Additionally, River’s Edge is a fee-only firm, only accepting compensation from clients, and not third parties, so as to remove potential conflicts of interest.
Relationship Driven
Every client is unique, and our priority in any first meeting is to listen to and understand the particular set of circumstances for that client. Every client has different questions, underlying beliefs about investments, and experiences that have shaped their financial journey to this point, as well as dreams they aspire to and goals they want to accomplish with their wealth. The best advice that we give to clients is always in the context of having a deep understanding of our clients. After an initial meeting, most clients have a sense of the value that our team will bring for them, but we will not charge a client to have that initial conversation.
